Uniformly gives you two ways to take payments at a pop-up sale: use your own card reader on any plan, or - with Pro or a £9 pass - let parents scan a QR code and pay on their own phone. Here's exactly who pays what.

Card payments always have a processing cost. With Uniformly Scan to pay (Pro or £9 pass), the parent pays the buyer fee and your PTA keeps 100% of the item price. With a card reader, the PTA pays the reader's fee and the parent pays nothing extra.
Our recommendation: For low-value stall sales, keep your own card reader and use free Mark as sold. Use Scan to pay for busy sales where queues and volunteer time matter.
A year of pop-up sales
A PTA running 4 pop-up sales a year, taking £250 on card each time (£1,000 a year):

- Uniformly Pro£49/year or £6/month (or £9 for a 7-day pass if you only run one sale day). Scan to pay, website embed and priority support included. Barcode labels, phone scanning, live stock dashboard, cash-up and sale-day report are coming soon and will be added at no extra cost. Use your own card reader (e.g. SumUp) and we keep your stock in sync. If parents use Scan to pay on their own phones, the parent pays the buyer fee (5% per basket, from 50p, max £2.50; 3.5% over £75) and your PTA keeps 100% of the price.

Is it safe to buy second-hand uniforms online?
